Um auf dieser Insel ein Hotel erbauen und betreiben zu dürfen, müssen wir heimlich einen von tausend Gästen den einheimischen Kannibalenstamm als Tribut geben. Nun das Auswahlverfahren ist keineswegs den Fettesten zu opfern, sondern denjenigen der am meisten bei seinem Aufenthalt zunimmt, weil er hemmungslos am Buffet und bei den Drinks zuschlägt und am meisten faulenzt (und Sportangebote der Animateure ausschlägt). Das Verfahren ist einigermaßen fair und stellt die Kannibalen absolut zufrieden.
Der hier ist ein vielversprechender Kandidat. 

To be allowed to build and run a hotel on this island, we have to secretly give one out of a thousand guests to the local cannibal tribe as tribute. Now the selection procedure is by no means to sacrifice the fattest, but the one who gains the most weight during his stay, because he hits the buffet and drinks without restraint and lazes around the most (and turns down sports offers from the animators). The process is reasonably fair and absolutely satisfies the cannibals.
This one is a promising candidate.
