Dieser Hänsel war so fett geworden, dass er aus seinen Kleidern platzte und nur noch in seiner engen Unterwäsche steckte, aus der sein schwabbeliger Bauch heraushing, ohne dass er wusste, dass er bald im Ofen landen würde. 

This Hansel had become so fat that he was bursting out of his clothes and was only in his tight underwear, from which his flabby belly was hanging out, without knowing that he would soon end up in the oven.

 

The fit and the fat

Er ist fit, seine Brüder werden fett. Seine Eltern haben ihm soeben enthüllt, dass ein Jeder seine Bestimmung findet. Und die seiner Brüder ist die Bratröhre, so wie sie sich haben gehen lassen. Daher ist er so gut gelaunt!

He's fit, his brothers get fat. His parents have just revealed to him that every one finds his destiny. And that of his brethren is the oven, as they have let themselves go. So he's so in a good mood!

„Hänsel wir sind so bleich, wir sollten uns von der Sonne grillen lassen.“ Hänsel wurde etwas mulmig bei der Bemerkung seines Kumpels Gregor. Denn er bemerkte, sie waren auch fett genug, dass es sich lohnte sie auf ganz andere Weise zu grillen.

“Hansel, we're so pale, we should let the sun grill us.” Hansel felt a little queasy at his buddy Gregor's comment. Because he realized that they were fat enough that it was worth grilling them in a completely different way.

Er bekam von mir Kost, Logis und Computerspiele zur Verfügung gestellt. Wenn er zu fett ist durch die Tür zu passen, werde ich ihn schlachten. 
 

I provided him with food, lodging and video games. If he's too fat to fit through the door, I'll slaughter him.

eine zauberhafte Freundin

Hänsel freute sich über das gute Essen seiner Freundin und dass er nach Herzenslust schlemmen konnte, da sie offensichtlich die Konsequenzen davon liebte.
Der Dumme Hänsel wird es erst begreifen, wenn sie ihn ihren Hexenfreundinnen als ofenreifes Mastvieh vorstellt.

Hansel was happy about his girlfriend's good food and that he could feast to his heart's content, since she obviously loved the consequences of it.
Silly Hansel will only understand when she introduces him to her witch friends as fattened cattle ready for the oven.

Um auf dieser Insel ein Hotel erbauen und betreiben zu dürfen, müssen wir heimlich einen von tausend Gästen den einheimischen Kannibalenstamm als Tribut geben. Nun das Auswahlverfahren ist keineswegs den Fettesten zu opfern, sondern denjenigen der am meisten bei seinem Aufenthalt zunimmt, weil er hemmungslos am Buffet und bei den Drinks zuschlägt und am meisten faulenzt (und Sportangebote der Animateure ausschlägt). Das Verfahren ist einigermaßen fair und stellt die Kannibalen absolut zufrieden.
Der hier ist ein vielversprechender Kandidat. 

To be allowed to build and run a hotel on this island, we have to secretly give one out of a thousand guests to the local cannibal tribe as tribute. Now the selection procedure is by no means to sacrifice the fattest, but the one who gains the most weight during his stay, because he hits the buffet and drinks without restraint and lazes around the most (and turns down sports offers from the animators). The process is reasonably fair and absolutely satisfies the cannibals.
This one is a promising candidate.

„Puh, ich bin mal wieder durch das üppige schwere fettige Essen komplett an den Boden gepinnt. Man müsste mich, wenn man mich mästen wollte nicht in einen Koben sperren, denn ich bewege mich ohnehin kaum noch freiwillig.“
Nun erstens mästen man dich, was du an dem vielen gutem Essen und deiner immer fetter werdenden Form merken solltest und zweitens wirst du – nachdem du dich selbst verschweint hast – genauso beim Schlachten quieken.

 "Whew, I'm completely pinned to the floor once again by the sumptuous heavy greasy food. You wouldn't have to lock me in a cubicle if you wanted to fatten me up, because I hardly ever move voluntarily anyway."
Well firstly they fatten you up, which you should notice from all the good food and your increasingly fatty form, and secondly you will - after you have made yourself a pig - squeal the same way at the slaughter.

Er wird es erst schnallen, wenn er vor Kraft nicht mehr laufen kann und ein hilfloses Opfer ist.

He will only realize it when he can no longer walk for strength and is a helpless victim.

Hänsel & Gretel

Während Gretel ein mulmiges Gefühl hat, mampft Hänsel fröhlich immer weiter. Schaut wie stolz er seinen neuen Bauch präsentiert! Der Hosenstall ist eh offen. Seine Kleidung wird immer enger. Hänsel, du wirst bald Teil eines großen Festessens – allerdings auf der anderen Seite als du denkst!

While Gretel has a queasy feeling, Hansel munches happily evermore. Look how proud he presents his new belly! His barn door (of trousers) is open anyway. His clothes are getting tighter. Hansel, you will soon be part of a great feast - but on the other hand as you think!
